The Riverlands Intermediate Coaching Clinic has been designed to lift your handicap, using dedicated coaches from around the world the intermediate clinic focus’s on your riding ability, team tactic and positional play.

Times: 10.00am – 3.00pm with lunch at 12.30pm both days.

This comprehensive clinic will cover Advance riding, Hitting technique, Team tactics, 4 chukkas each day along with lunch and refreshments throughout the weekend.

Andrew Williams
Andrew Williams is one of Australia’s highest rated professional polo players. Rated at 5 goals, Andrew has played right around the world, twice been part of Australia’s World Cup Team and recently captained it.
Andrew has been appointed as New South Wales Polo Association’s Professional Coach. He has held clinics for all levels of players and utilises his university training of human movement when designing his courses.
Entusiastic about coaching and growing the sport of polo in Australia, Andrew has recently held clinics throughout country NSW for the NSW Polo Association, the specific aim of these clinics was to introduce new players to the sport.
Lessons are available with Andrew all year round at Riverlands Polo. He is able to provide lessons designed specifically for the individual, group clinics and team coaching.

Gavin Chaplin Coaching Clinics
We are pleased to announce that Gavin Chaplin from South Africa (considered one of the best polo coaches in the world) is heading back to Riverlands Polo Club and will be here from the 23rd September to the 5th of October. While he is here we will hold 3 intensive coaching clinics.
26th and 27th September - 2 day Intermediate/Advance Clinic
$1650 per person
1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th October – 4 day Intermediate/Advance Clinic.
$2200 per person (Includes additional one on one, one hour coaching session with Gavin).
9th, 10th and 11th October – 3 day Beginner/Intermediate Clinic.
$1650 per person
Each clinic will run from 10am to 4pm each day and includes:
- Coaching for 6 Students
- Wooden Horse, Swing analysis, Tactics, Intermediate riding skills.
- Coached and videoed chukkas – 4 chukkas per day
- Teams will be 3 students and 1 professional
- Lunch and Refreshments each day
All prices exclude Horse Hire @ $300 per day.
